Nick Coleman (Hutch/Producer/Assistant Director)

A writer, actor, photographer, and filmmaker originally from West Plains and Nixa, Missouri, Nick’s training includes years of community and educational theatre, collegiate work at Missouri State University, and private coaching in New York City. He is an owner and partner in Howell County Films, a founding member of the Missouri Film Alliance of Springfield, and also Element 8 Ensemble. For the theater: Sean (ALL ABOARD THE MARRIAGE HEARSE), Ben Denbo (SINGLE BULLET THEORY), Dag (IN THE PARLANCE—OOBR Award). For the screen: Patrick Whistler (LARVA—Sci-Fi Channel), Barry (MAID OF HONOR—Best Short Film, LI Film Fest), et al. AMERICAN SOLDIERS marks the latest in a long line of creative collaborations between Nick, Matt Morillo, and KADM. Who would have thought it could all start with ninjas and a post-apocalyptic future? Julia Giolzetti (Marie)

Julia is thrilled to be working on AMERICAN SOLDIERS. She holds a BFA in Theatre from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied at the Stella Adler Conservatory. Tom Pilutik (Carlo Jr., Producer)

With great tenacity, Tom Pilutik (www.thomasjp.com) has been on the acting scene for the past 10 years. Starting his acting pursuits at C.W. Post College on Long Island, Tom received the award for Outstanding Service to the Company upon his transition to the professional acting world. Since his departure from C.W. Post, Tom has built a strong resume, consistently working with established theater, film and television companies. Recent credits including the INTEL commercial currently in broadcast on network television in the United States, Hong Kong, China and Bombay, India.  Tom can also be seen in the film ROCKY VS. ADRIAN, an outrageous comedy about what one man fears the most, as well as a short film ANNA, about a girl coming to terms with the realities of life and death. Keep an eye out for Tom in a new film project coming soon, shooting on location in Minnesota.

Kate Reilly (Angela)

Kate Reilly studied acting at Sarah Lawrence College. Favorite roles include Dr. Balthazar in a new translation of Vaclav Havel's THE INCREASED DIFFICULTY OF CONCENTRATION at the Ohio Theatre and a lecturer in the THE HANNAH COMPLEX, a performance piece contemplating Hannah Montana's particular brand of reality, staged at 3rd Ward and Judson Memorial Church. Kate's films have premiered internationally in forums including Tribeca, HBO Comedy, Austin and Edinburgh Film Festivals.

Stu Richel (Carlo Sr.) *

MORTAL DECISIONS, A DIARY OF THE DONNER PARTY; EVERYONE’S WAR; and THEODORE JUDAH AND THE TRANSCONTINENTAL RAILROAD.  Principal roles in twenty four, indie films, including DEATH IN LOVE (Sundance 2008, Jacqueline Bisset’s husband) and STARTING OUT IN THE EVENING (Sundance 2007, Jill Eikenberry’s husband.)  
TV: 30 ROCK (Alec Baldwin’s boss,) MICHAEL AND MICHAEL HAVE ISSUES, AS THE WORLD TURNS and ONE LIFE TO LIVE.  Plays a CEO (feigning dementia) in a TV pilot shot this month.  In earlier lives…corporate attorney…college teacher…combat photographer with the 1st Infantry Division in Vietnam (1969).
